Cadet: The Citadel provides a military environment to fulfill our mission of developing principled leaders. Students all live on campus and must be between 17-23 years old upon matriculation.

Degree Completion: Students who have completed 30 credit hours of undergraduate study at another institution may apply to transfer those credits to The Citadel to complete their Bachelors degree. Evening and online programs are available. 

Active Duty & Veteran (Undergraduate Application): Veteran day students attend classes with the Corps of Cadets but are not subject to any military or residency requirements, they do not live in the barracks or wear a uniform. Active duty day students are those accepted into an approved military education or commissioning program, such as the Marine Enlisted Commissioning Education Program (MECEP), the Navy Seaman to Admiral (STA-21) Program, or the Army Green to Gold Program. These students take daytime classes with cadets.

Graduate: The Citadel Graduate College has convenient, flexible programs for you. Evening and online classes are available to accommodate a professional student’s lifestyle. You must have a Bachelors Degree.
